Are you this Girl?

All of you would have read in my profile, I hate reading. But, after moving to HRD and after a tiring day at work, what better way to chill than to bury my head deep into an interesting novel. One thing I have learnt in this industry, is that it is good to keep reading and reading, as education is a life long process. The more I read and learn, the more I can write and entertain you.

I started with Da Vinci code and then moved onto this really interesting novel called Girl Alone by Rupa Gulab.

The novel is based on a Bengali girl, Arti living in Kolkata. She has completed her graduation and wants to pursue a career as a teacher, and continue in the same boring way. Her mother on the other hand, wants her to meet lots of eligible men, make new friends, and have a happening life.

Thanks to her mom, Arti gets a job with an advertising company as a trainee in Mumbai. The shift in her life starts with her shift to Mumbai. After 4 years of being in the same profile with not much salary change, she loses the man she loves to Bimbo Dogess. Its then that she sits to evaluate her life and decides to make changes.

A must read for all those lonely girls who arrive in Aamchi Mumbai with various career aspirations.
And Yes, a must read for those who love humour and intellectual wit.

A girl happy to be in a relationship, but sometimes more happy without it.
(Arti is present in all of us)
